For over 100 years, Olds Agricultural Society has been one of those organizations that town and country folk both participate in. And now it has evolved into the Olds Regional Exhibition.

Welcome to the Olds Regional Exhibition

The Olds Regional Exhibition, formerly Olds Agricultural Society, is considered to be one of the essential pillar organizations in Olds Alberta. Olds is less than an hour north of Calgary, in the rich farming land of central Alberta. The population of the town is about 9,200 people, mainly employed in agricultural, oil & gas, or business industries.

ORE provides venues and facilitates events in our community, for youth, those in the agricultural industry, and to enhance rural lifestyles.

Agriculture - Up to ten beef breed shows show at the annual Olds Fall Classic each October, including Black Angus, Charolais, Gelbvieh, Hereford, Limousin, Maine Anjou, Red Angus, Salers, Shorthorn and Simmental, a showcase of top quality cattle from the industry's leading seedstock breeders.

 Youth - All winter long, the MegaDome becomes the Alberta Indoor Cycling Centre for BMX Track racers in Central Alberta.

YOUTH - The MegaDome is the Alberta Indoor Cycling Centre for BMX Track racers, an opportunity for young BMX riders to ride & train all winter long.

 Community - Among many other community events, ORE is very active in the Santa Claus Parade of Lights during Olds Fashioned Christmas each November.

The source of agriculture, youth, community and agribusiness since 1899.

The Spring Classic was introduced in 1999 to provide an opportunity for 4-H members, youth and open exhibitors to sharpen their showing skills and enjoy some friendly competition.

What's New?

•  We are very excited to be hosting the 23rd Edition of Olds Spring Classic on April 16th. Registrations now open!

•  NOTE: Drop in Riding on Wednesdays from 3 - 7:30 pm and Saturdays from 10 am - 3 pm

•  Heel-o-matic Nights: Sundays and Tuesdays from 7 - 8 pm. For info, contact: Bill at 403-507-9513.

•  Barrel Racing practices now at 6 pm on Thursday nights in the Caluori Pavilion. Contact Natasha at 403-559-7268 for inclement weather notices.
